Parties: The Service Provider and the Customer collectively.
-
Product(s): All movable goods offered for sale on the Website, in particular branded (Doodlz) clothing items featuring graphics designed by the Service Provider, primarily T-shirts. The Products are pre-designed catalogue items for which the Customer selects the graphic design and size; the Customer cannot add custom text, upload photographs or otherwise personalise a Product.
-
Contract: A distance sales contract concluded between the Service Provider and the Customer, in accordance with these Terms, for the purchase of Products offered on the Website.
-
Terms (GTC): These General Terms and Conditions set out in this document.
1.6. Scope and acceptance of the GTC:
These Terms constitute general terms and conditions within the meaning of Section 6:77 of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code. By placing an order on the Website, the Customer declares that they have read and understood these GTC and the Privacy Notice published on the Website and, by completing the order, accept the provisions of the GTC as binding upon them.
2. PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS AND USE OF THE WEBSITE
2.1. Product descriptions:
The essential characteristics, composition, size chart and care instructions for each Product are set out on the relevant Product page on the Website. Images displayed on the Website are intended to represent the Products faithfully; however, minor differences between the displayed and actual product colours may occur due to variations in screen colour settings.
2.2. Use of the Website:
The detailed rules governing browsing of the Website and intellectual property rights are set out in a separate Website Terms of Use document published on the Website. The Service Provider takes all reasonable measures to ensure the Website remains continuously available and secure, but accepts no liability for technical disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control.
3. ORDERING PROCESS AND CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT
3.1. Registration:
Purchasing on the Website does not require registration; orders may also be placed as a guest. The Customer may, however, register a customer account to track previous orders more conveniently. During registration, the Customer must provide accurate information.
3.2. Technical steps for placing an order:
-
Selecting a Product: On the page for the T-shirt featuring the desired graphic design, the Customer selects the appropriate size and quantity, then adds the item by clicking “Add to cart”.
-
Reviewing the Cart: On the Cart page, the Customer can review the selected Products, their prices and the quantities ordered, and may amend or remove items as desired.
-
Checkout and entering details: At checkout, the Customer provides a contact e-mail address, the shipping and billing names and addresses, and a contact telephone number.
-
Selecting shipping and payment methods: Based on the country of the shipping address, the system automatically determines the applicable currency and shipping fee.
-
Correcting data-entry errors: Before submitting the order, the Customer may go back at any time and correct any information entered incorrectly.
-
Submitting the order: The order is finalised after the Customer ticks the checkbox confirming that they have read the GTC and the Privacy Notice, and clicks the button that creates an obligation to pay.
3.3. Binding offer and acknowledgement of receipt:
The Service Provider’s system will acknowledge receipt of the order by automatic e-mail without undue delay and no later than within 48 hours, sending it to the e-mail address provided by the Customer. The acknowledgement contains the order ID, an itemised list of the Products ordered, the shipping and billing details, and the total amount payable.
3.4. Conclusion of the Contract and language of contracting:
The Contract is concluded between the Parties when the e-mail confirming the order becomes accessible in the Customer’s e-mail system, in accordance with Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce services and information society services. If the acknowledgement does not arrive within 48 hours of submission of the order, the Customer is released from the binding nature of their offer. The Contract is concluded electronically, is not separately filed, and can be retrieved by means of the confirmation e-mail and these GTC. The sole language of the Contract is English, as the Website and its legal terms are available to customers exclusively in English.
3.5. Cancellation or rejection of an order by the Service Provider:
The Service Provider may cancel or reject an order, while notifying the Customer at the same time and without liability to pay damages, in the following cases:
-
if the online payment transaction is not authorised by the card-issuing financial institution or payment service provider, or is interrupted;
-
if the information provided by the Customer is manifestly false, incomplete or fictitious, or does not allow invoicing and delivery;
-
if the Customer has previously placed orders abusively, without intending to collect them, and failed to collect them for reasons attributable to the Customer.
4. PRICES, CURRENCIES, OBVIOUS PRICING ERRORS AND PAYMENT TERMS
4.1. Purchase prices:
The prices displayed next to the Products on the Website are gross consumer prices and include the applicable value added tax (VAT). Prices do not include shipping costs; these will be displayed precisely during checkout, after the destination country and address have been entered and before payment.
4.2. Applicable payment currencies:
The Service Provider sells internationally. Depending on the shipping destination, the purchase price of Products is payable in the following currencies:
-
Hungary: HUF (Hungarian forint)
-
Other Member States of the European Union: EUR (euro)
-
United States of America: USD (US dollar)
-
Canada: CAD (Canadian dollar)
-
United Kingdom: GBP (British pound sterling)
4.3. Available online payment methods:
The purchase price may be paid on the Website exclusively by electronic means and in advance, using the following secure payment systems:
-
Online bank-card payment (Shopify Payments / Stripe): Payment made through an encrypted channel. The Service Provider does not process bank-card details.
-
Shop Pay: A digital payment service provided by Shopify International Limited.
-
Apple Pay: An integrated mobile and digital wallet payment service provided by Apple Distribution International Limited.
-
Google Pay: An electronic payment solution operated by Google Payment Ireland Limited.
4.4. Handling obvious pricing errors:
If, due to a technical error, system malfunction or typographical error, an obviously incorrect and disproportionately low price is displayed on the Website (in particular a price of HUF 0 / EUR 0 / USD 0 / GBP 0 / CAD 0, a price of HUF 1 / EUR 1 / USD 1 / GBP 1 / CAD 1, or a purchase price in which one or more zeros are obviously missing in comparison with the actual market value), the Service Provider is not obliged to supply the Product at the erroneous price. In such a case, the Service Provider will promptly inform the Customer of the correct purchase price and offer to perform the Contract at that price. The Customer may maintain the order at the correct price (and pay the difference) or withdraw from the purchase. If the Customer withdraws, or does not make a statement within 48 hours after receiving the information, the Service Provider will cancel the order and promptly refund any amount already paid.
4.5. Invoicing:
After the purchase price has been paid, the Service Provider will issue an electronic invoice through the system of Billingo Technologies Zrt. and send it to the e-mail address provided. By placing an order, the Customer expressly consents to receiving an electronic invoice.
5. SHIPPING AND PERFORMANCE TERMS
5.1. Manufacturing and logistics model (print-on-demand):
After the purchase price has been credited, the Products available for purchase on the Website are made to order using automated printing at the manufacturing facilities of the Service Provider’s contracted logistics partner, Printful, Inc.
5.2. Delivery and shipping partners:
-
Depending on the destination country, delivery is handled by Printful’s contracted courier partners (e.g. DHL, FedEx, DPD, GLS or other local postal partners).
-
Magyar Posta Zrt. (MPL): Where the shipping address is in Hungary, a Customer who qualifies as a Consumer is also entitled, under Government Decree 335/2012 (XII. 4.) on the detailed rules for the provision of postal services and delivery of official documents with valid proof of service, to choose the delivery service of Magyar Posta Zrt. at the rates displayed on the Website.
5.3. Delivery times and fees:
The average production time is 2–5 business days. Depending on the destination country, shipping takes a further 3–8 business days to Hungary and the European Union, and 5–15 business days to other destinations. The shipping cost will be shown precisely on the checkout page before the order is finalised.
5.4. Transfer of risk:
In a consumer contract, the risk of loss or damage passes to the Consumer when the Product is received by the Consumer or a third party designated by the Consumer. The Customer must check the package for damage upon delivery and, if damage is found, ask the courier to draw up a report.
6. 30-DAY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FOR CONSUMERS (RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY)
6.1. Withdrawal period:
Instead of the mandatory 14-day withdrawal period under Section 20 of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules governing contracts between consumers and businesses, the Service Provider voluntarily grants Consumers a uniform 30-calendar-day right to withdraw without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 30 calendar days after the day on which the Product is received by the Consumer or a third party designated by the Consumer.
6.2. Right to try on the Product and required condition:
Under Section 25 of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the Consumer may try on and examine the Product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and size. For a return following withdrawal, the T-shirt is expected to be clean, undamaged and to have its original label attached. If the Product has diminished in value due to handling beyond what is necessary to try it on (e.g. washing, soiling or mechanical damage), the Consumer is liable for the resulting loss in value, which the Service Provider may deduct from the refund.
6.3. Procedure for exercising the right of withdrawal:
-
The Consumer must notify the Service Provider of their intention to withdraw by means of an unequivocal statement within the 30-day period, by e-mail to hello@doodlz.shop or by post.
-
The Consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal by completing and sending the model withdrawal form in Annex 1 to these Terms, or by making any other unequivocal written statement.
-
In accordance with Section 22(2) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the Consumer may also exercise the right of withdrawal by completing and submitting the online withdrawal form available on the Website. In that case, the Service Provider will promptly acknowledge receipt of the withdrawal notice by e-mail (on a durable medium).
-
The deadline is met if the Consumer sends the notice before the expiry of the 30-calendar-day period.
6.4. Returning the Product and returns address:
-
The Consumer must return the Product to the Service Provider without undue delay and, in any event, within 14 calendar days from communicating the withdrawal notice.
-
Exclusive returns address:
Sarolta Nagy sole proprietor
1053 Budapest, Ferenciek tere 2, ground floor, Hungary
-
WARNING: Do not return the parcel to the foreign Printful logistics facility shown on the shipment! The Service Provider cannot ensure the handling of Products returned to a foreign warehouse. Returns are valid only if sent to the Budapest address above.
-
Return costs: Under Section 24(2) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the Consumer bears the direct cost of returning the Product. The Service Provider will not accept parcels sent cash on delivery or postage due. Use of a trackable carrier is recommended.
6.5. Refunds:
In the event of withdrawal, the Service Provider will refund all amounts paid by the Consumer, including the initial delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from choosing a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered), no later than 14 calendar days from receiving the returned Product or receiving credible proof that it has been sent back. The refund will be made by refunding the bank-card payment, using the same payment method as the original transaction.
6.6. Handling defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered Products:
If a Product has a manufacturing defect, is torn, has a printing defect or bears an incorrect size label, the Consumer may report the defect to hello@doodlz.shop within 30 days of delivery, attaching photographs. Once the defect has been verified, the Service Provider will arrange, through the Printful system, for a replacement Product to be manufactured and delivered free of charge or, at the Consumer’s request, refund the purchase price.
7. STATUTORY WARRANTY FOR LACK OF CONFORMITY AND PRODUCT LIABILITY WARRANTY
In the event of non-conforming performance by the Service Provider, the Consumer is entitled to statutory warranty rights for lack of conformity or product warranty rights under Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code and Government Decree 373/2021 (VI. 30.) on the detailed rules governing contracts between consumers and businesses for the sale of goods and the supply of digital content and digital services.
7.1. Statutory warranty for lack of conformity:
-
In the event of non-conforming performance, the Customer may request replacement of the Product (repair is not possible due to the nature of the clothing item).
-
If replacement is impossible or would entail disproportionate additional costs, the Customer may request a proportionate reduction in the price or withdraw from the Contract.
-
The Consumer must notify the Service Provider of the defect within 2 months of discovering it. Warranty rights may not be enforced after the two-year limitation period running from performance has expired. In consumer contracts, a defect discovered within 1 year after performance is presumed to have existed at the time of performance.
7.2. Product warranty:
In the event of a defect in a movable item, the Consumer may bring a product warranty claim directly against the manufacturer within 2 years of the Product being placed on the market, requesting repair or replacement of the defective Product.
7.3. No commercial guarantee:
The clothing items sold by the Service Provider are not products subject to mandatory commercial guarantees under Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.) on mandatory guarantees for certain durable consumer goods, and the Service Provider does not offer any voluntary commercial guarantee.
The model notice on statutory warranty and guarantee rights conforming to statutory provisions is set out in Annex 2 to these Terms.

Under Section 17/A of Act CLV of 1997 on Consumer Protection, the Service Provider must provide a substantive written response to a written consumer complaint within 30 days of receipt and give reasons for its position.

ANNEXES
Annex 1: MODEL WITHDRAWAL FORM
Annex 2: MODEL NOTICE ON STATUTORY WARRANTY FOR LACK OF CONFORMITY AND PRODUCT WARRANTY
(Based on Annex 3 to Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules governing contracts between consumers and businesses)
1. Statutory warranty for lack of conformity
In what circumstances may you exercise your statutory warranty rights for lack of conformity?
If the Service Provider performs non-conformingly, you may assert a statutory warranty claim against the business in accordance with Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code.
What rights are available to you under your statutory warranty claim?
At your choice, you may pursue the following statutory warranty remedies:
You may request repair or replacement, unless the remedy you have chosen is impossible or would impose disproportionate additional costs on the business compared with another remedy. If you did not request, or could not request, repair or replacement, you may claim a proportionate reduction in the consideration or, as a last resort, withdraw from the Contract. In a contract between a Consumer and a business for the sale of goods constituting movable property, you may not repair the defect yourself, or have it repaired by another person, at the business’s expense when exercising your statutory warranty rights.
You may switch from the statutory warranty remedy you selected to another one, but you must bear the costs of the change unless it was justified or the business gave you cause to make the change.
Within what time limit may you assert your statutory warranty claim?
You must notify the business of the defect without undue delay after discovering it and no later than within two months of discovery. Please note, however, that you may no longer enforce your statutory warranty rights after the two-year limitation period from performance has expired.
Against whom may you assert your statutory warranty claim?
You may assert your statutory warranty claim against the business.
What other condition applies to exercising your statutory warranty rights?
Within one year of performance, apart from notifying the defect, there is no other condition for enforcing your statutory warranty claim, provided you prove that the Product or service was supplied by the Service Provider. After one year from performance, however, you must prove that the defect you discovered already existed at the time of performance.
2. Product warranty
In what circumstances may you exercise your product warranty rights?
If a movable item (Product) is defective, you may, at your choice, exercise the rights described in Section 1 or assert a product warranty claim in accordance with Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code.
What rights are available to you under a product warranty claim?
As a product warranty remedy, you may request repair or replacement of the defective Product.
Against whom may you assert your product warranty claim?
You may exercise your product warranty rights against the manufacturer or distributor of the Product (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “manufacturer”).
When is a Product considered defective?
A Product is defective if it does not meet the quality requirements in force when it was placed on the market or if it does not have the characteristics described by the manufacturer.
Within what time limit may you assert a product warranty claim?
You may assert a product warranty claim within two years from the date on which the manufacturer placed the Product on the market. After this period, you lose this right.
What rules on the burden of proof apply to a product warranty claim?
When asserting a product warranty claim, you must prove that the defect existed at the time the manufacturer placed the Product on the market.
When is the manufacturer released from its product warranty obligations?
The manufacturer is released from its product warranty obligations if it can prove that:
-
it did not manufacture or place the Product on the market in the course of its business activities; or
-
the defect could not have been detected, according to the state of scientific and technical knowledge, at the time the Product was placed on the market; or
-
the defect results from the application of a law or mandatory official requirement.
For the manufacturer to be released from liability, it is sufficient to prove one of these grounds.
Please note that, in respect of the same defect, you may assert a statutory warranty claim against the business and a product warranty claim against the manufacturer at the same time and in parallel. If you successfully enforce a product warranty claim, you may thereafter assert a statutory warranty claim in respect of the replaced Product or the part of the Product affected by the repair only against the manufacturer.
